Narrative Report Example - 1091 Words
On 09/17/2017 at approximately 8:48 AM while assigned to the patrol division; I, Deputy John Cooper was notified by dispatch of a subject who was reporting a stolen firearm. I was contacted prior to making contact with the complainant, by Sgt. Inv. Bowring, who stated the complainant called him and stated the suspect was currently at the residence of 247 CR 4641 Winnsboro, Texas. I made contact with Kevin Ramirez (TX DL# 36178332), who stated he had a Glock pistol (Serial# BDYT051) and an iPad (Serial# DMPSK1Q7HG6R) stolen from his vehicle at approximately 4:30-5:00 AM. Mr. Ramirez stated he stopped by the residence at 247 CR 4641 Winnsboro, Texas to visit some people he knows there at approximately 3:45 AM. Mr. Ramirez stated whileâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Weems allowed me, Sgt. Pollard and Deputy Sepulvado to walk through the residence to make sure Mr. Holt was not there. At this time, I thanked Mr. Weems for his cooperation and then left the residence. I then contacted Mr. Ra mirez and informed him, his items nor was Mr. Holt at that residence. I informed Mr. Ramirez I would make a report of the stolen items and forward it to CID. I also advised Mr. Ramirez if he saw where he was tracking his iPad and it changed locations to call the Sheriffââ¬â¢s Office and let me know. At approximately 3:30 PM, I contacted Mr., Ramirez to see if his iPadââ¬â¢s location had changed and he stated he had his property returned to him. When I questioned Mr. Ramirez how he got the items back he stated he was contacted by Garrett Amason (TX DL# 33891144) and Lauryn Vasquez ( TX DL # 38168735), and stated Mr. Amason and Ms. Vasquez said they had heard about his items being stolen from him and was going to go check and see if they could find the items for him. Mr. Ramirez stated he was contacted by Ms. Vasquez at approximately 2:30 PM, to meet her at Brookshireââ¬â¢s parking lot, as she had had the items that he had missing. I asked Mr. Ramirez if he could provide me w ith contact information for Mr. Amason or Ms. Vasquez and he said he didnââ¬â¢t know Mr. Amasonââ¬â¢s phone number but he was able to provide me a phone number for Ms. Vasquez.
